The Village of Oregon is situated in the southern half of Dane County, approximately 7 miles south of Madison with a population of approx. 10,000.
Those who are looking for that “small town America” feel will find just that in downtown Oregon along with the numerous community events throughout the year. For those who want the hustle and bustle of a bigger city, Madison is only a 20 minute drive north and offers something for everyone.
In 2011, Oregon was named one of the “100 Best Small Places to Live” by CNN Money. Oregon was also ranked in the top 3 for safest city in Wisconsin in 2018. Couple that with the wonderful Oregon School District and Oregon becomes a wonderful place for you and your family.
